Aleksandra Domanovic is an artist from Slovenia based in Berlin. She works and experiments in video, sculpture and digital media, often involving the Internet. But, this time the Berlin-based artist unlike other artist has experimented with the side edges of paper.
Taking its title from the time slot of the evening television news programs in former Yugoslavia, Domanovic?s artwork is created by piling up sizes of A3 and A4 paper with photos printed on their sides with ink-jet printing. First creating a massive PDF file of a photo, she sets the printer to border-less printing setting, which coats the ends of each paper and when stacked upon each other, they combine to form a beautifully detailed image.
